Claire herself has gained massively through her years studying various martial arts but particularly finds Go Ju Ryu karate to be her real passion. Claire has spent a large amount of her life overweight going on a personal journey towards her black belt and despite having multiple learning difficulties herself, she finds this provides her with an additional passion to help people start their karate journey who may think it is not possible for themselves.
Southwest Go Ju Ryu is registered with the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association one of the largest UK martial arts associations. Claire also regularly trains herself at Parkstone Karate Academy.
